There are a variety of powerful washing machines out there that offer all different types of features, but none of those would compare to my Whirlpool Duet Washer & Dryer. It’s been a year since I got my washer and dryer and I just wanted to update you all about how our year went…
Whirlpool Duet Washer
I’ve owned a lot of washing machines in my time, but I can (without hesitation) say that my Duet is by far the best one I have ever owned. In the past year it has been a work horse servicing the needs of three very dirty males while being delicate enough to take care of my specials without ruining them. I did have to call for service one time when the seal on the door got torn and it started leaking, but other than that this thing has proved to be a work horse.
My favorite features with my washer are still the precision dispense ultra and the FanFresh™ function. The FanFresh™ technology circulates air in the washer after cycle’s end, keeping your clean clothes fresh and free from odors for up to 10 hours. This has save me so many times as things pop up sometimes and forgetting about a washed load of clothes isn’t discovered sometimes until the next day. The precision dispense feature automatically adds the appropriate amount of soap to a load so that I don’t have to do it every time. Both of these functions are things I could not live without.
Whirlpool Duet Dryer
After one year the Whirlpool Duet Dryer has been able to take on anything my washer has had to offer with no breakdowns or malfunctions. The dryer still performs with efficiency and it’s large enough to dry our King comforter with no problem whatsoever. My favorite features on the dryer are the quick refresh steam cycle that tumbles clothing using the steam technology to relax wrinkles and remove odors. This is particularly useful with a house full of males. The Wrinkle Shield Option tumbles the dryer every 5 minutes after the cycle is complete to help prevent wrinkles from setting into clean, dry fabrics allowing me time to get shirts hung without having to iron!
So, after a full year of using my Whirlpool Duet Washer & Dryer I am still sold that these units are the best I have ever used and I don’t think I could find anything on the market today as good as these work horses.
