One of my favorite things about living in Florida is all the extra months of warm weather. Fall and winter are mild enough that most of the time you can still sit outside with your flip-flops on eating ice-cream while people living in other parts of the country would be freezing their toes off. Sitting in the backyard, swinging on the hammock with my book in one hand and Mayfield Creamery Ice Cream in the other is something I look forward to on a regular basis. It’s one of my favorite ways to relax after a hectic week of working and taking care of the family.
Although I keep a stash of ice-cream in the freezer, no trip to Publix is complete without at least a walk down the ice cream aisle. They always have my favorite brand in stock and carry more flavors than any other store in my area. That really works out when I want ice cream but really don’t know what kind. Mayfield Creamery is one of my favorite brands of ice cream and has been for a long time. Some of the most memorable moments of my childhood are entwined with ice cream. Even when I was just a little girl I can remember sitting outside with my grandma and talking about just about everything under the sun. Whether chatting over a bowl or a cone those times are something I cherish even until today.
Mayfield Creamery uses some of the best freshest ingredients that can be found. Quality is always consistently delicious and I’m always looking out for new recipes. One of my all-time favorites is the Banana Pudding Ice Cream. I’ve never tasted another ice cream quite like it and I’m completely convinced it’s the best or among the best of it’s kind. If you like banana pudding you’ll love this one for sure because it features chucks on bananas and pieces of vanilla wafer cookies. It’s my comfort food and now it’s my comfort ice cream flavor.
Publix is the best place to shop for Mayfield Creamery Ice Cream products because they always have a big selection. One of the things I like about my store is if I can’t find the flavor I’m looking for they will order it for me. I don’t know if every Publix does that, but one of the managers at my favorite store is good like that. Above and beyond customer service is something I’ve grown accustomed to and is what keeps me coming back year after year, flavor after flavor.

Just the name and the artwork on the package would get me to try this. The ice cream events sound so fun.
