Ingredients

- • 1 cup flour
- • 1 cup sugar
- • ½ cup butter or margarine
- • 4 eggs
- • 1 ½ cups Chocolate Syrup (16oz)
- • 2 cups powdered sugar
- • ½ cup softened butter or margarine
- • 2 tablespoons green crème de menthe
- • 6 tablespoons butter or margarine
- • 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×13 pan.
- Combine first 5 ingredients and beat until smooth. Pour into the greased pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely in pan.
- While cooling, combine 2 cups powdered sugar, ½ cup softened butter or margarine with 1 tablespoon of water, ½ teaspoon of mint extract and 3 drops of green food coloring. Beat until smooth.
- Spread mixture over the cake. Cover and refrigerate for about an hour.
- Melt 6 tablespoons butter or margarine with 1 cup chocolate chips over very low heat. Stir constantly until fully melted and smooth. Let cool slightly.
- Pour glaze over the cake with mint cream center. Cover and chill for at least two hours before serving.
