Ingredients
  • Ingredients:
  • • 1 cup flour
  • • 1 cup sugar
  • • ½ cup butter or margarine
  • • 4 eggs
  • • 1 ½ cups Chocolate Syrup (16oz)
  • • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • • ½ cup softened butter or margarine
  • • 2 tablespoons green crème de menthe
  • • 6 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • • 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Directions:
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×13 pan.
  3. Combine first 5 ingredients and beat until smooth. Pour into the greased pan.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool completely in pan.
  6. While cooling, combine 2 cups powdered sugar, ½ cup softened butter or margarine with 1 tablespoon of water, ½ teaspoon of mint extract and 3 drops of green food coloring. Beat until smooth.
  7. Spread mixture over the cake. Cover and refrigerate for about an hour.
  8. Melt 6 tablespoons butter or margarine with 1 cup chocolate chips over very low heat. Stir constantly until fully melted and smooth. Let cool slightly.
  9. Pour glaze over the cake with mint cream center. Cover and chill for at least two hours before serving.
