Beauty Tips to Combat ALLERGY FACE™

This post brought to you by Zyrtec. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have eleven things I’m allergic to according to the tests I had done at the doctor’s office back in 2000.  One of those allergens was a catch all and it is the one that causes me the most problem, all Southern grasses.  Guess where I live?  The most Southern state in the US, Florida.  However grass isn’t the only problem I have, I’m also allergic to ragweed, dogs, hickory, dust mites, cockroaches, and a multitude of other things including mold.  Back in 2007 I was prescribed ZYRTEC® to help relieve my symptoms and thankfully it was changed to over-the-counter (OTC) not long thereafter making it affordable and available to other allergy suffers.

I am not surprised to find that still today ZYRTEC® is the #1 allergist recommended brand among OTC oral antihistamines.  It starts relieving allergy symptoms pretty quick including runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, itchy nose and throat, and sneezing.  I take it as soon as I wake up in the morning to help alleviate my Allergy Face..

Have you ever heard the term ALLERGY FACE™?  Well, it’s what I have when I don’t take my allergy medicine on most days – red nose, puffy face, and watery eyes.  It’s not the most beautiful face to wake up to in the morning, believe me.  It didn’t surprise me to find out that 66% of women with allergies feel ugly or unattractive when experiencing ALLERGY FACE™.   If it weren’t for my beauty secrets that help me look better and ZYRTEC® that helps me feel better I would probably be a pretty scary and miserable person.

My go-to beauty tips/methods for combating ALLERGY FACE™:

  • Cold cucumber slices over each eye for 10 minutes when you wake up.
  • Find the perfect concealer for you.
  • Get plenty of sleep. Lack of sleep will only make your allergy eyes even puffier.

What beauty tips or tricks can you offer to combat ALLERGY FACE?
