Week 4: The GUM PerioBalance Challenge with @NiaVardalos #GIVEAWAY (10 Winners)

Did you make it to the #HealthyGums Twitter Party last night?  As promised I am giving away a month supply of PerioBalance to 10 lucky readers!  If you missed the post about the kick off of our challenge and how I have progressed you can find it here:  Week 1 PerioBalance and Week 2 PerioBalance and Week 3 PerioBalance.

When I first started this challenge my gums were bleeding when I brushed my teeth (and yes, I use a soft toothbrush).  I was flossing, but not religiously because it took me forever and it really was unpleasant.  I’m not a huge fan of blood, not even my own and especially coming from my mouth.  Over the course of the month I made a promise to brush, floss, and use the melt-away PerioBalance tablet daily.  I also took a reading every other day of the acidity of my saliva.

The importance of the pH reading of saliva was to have something measurable to base our results on doing the challenge.  When I started my pH level was a 6.0.  There are a bunch of sites that can offer you information about what these numbers represent, but a good reading for saliva is anywhere between 6.75-7.0+ as the saliva tends to be slightly more acidic.  When I finished with the challenge my saliva was in the optimal range.

Do you want to try PerioBalance?  I have a month supply for 10 lucky readers!

Disclosure:  This post was sponsored by Sunstar GUM and PerioBalance has been provided to me for trial and review.

Comments

  1. my bottom row of teeth is very crowded so it presents a particular challenge to flossing as well as needing it even more!

  2. I need to floss more

  3. for some reason I forget to floss.

  4. Definitely floss more cause if I can’t find my floss picks I hate using the regular floss.
