Post Halloween Colds Because Kleenex Cares

Halloween.  It’s officially over so let the colds begin.  Not sure where you trick or treated last night, but here in Orlando, Florida it was a tad chilly. Not only that, but there were kids everywhere, touching everything, staying out past their bedtimes, and getting wore out.  All those things can only mean one thing…an inevitable cold!  Lucky for us, Kleenex Cares!

This year we were prepared, just like my mom used to be when she brought us trick or treating, with our Kleeenex Brand Slim Pack, hand sanitizer, and lip balm from our Care Pack.  The only thing we were missing was the bottle of water because James got really thirsty running from house to house.  James loved the little care package I made for him and he shared his Kleenex and his lip balm with his friend throughout the night. Since it was so chilly we did end up using a few Kleenex from the Share Pack and the lip balm quite a bit, but we forgot about sanitizing our hands…probably not the smartest move on my part.

Remember my post about teaching our children how to care about others?  Well this month when my sister got feeling run down my son gave her a Kleenex Brand Care Pack. She was surprised and impressed with his gesture especially since Kleenex is her preferred brand because it is the softest of all the tissue on the market.  I was really proud of James for thinking about his aunt when she came over feeling under the weather.  I had been telling him that we needed to remember to give away one of the Care Packs this month.  I think it made him feel good to do something nice for my sister since she is his favorite aunt.  She didn’t, however, want me to take her picture…lol.
