‘Tis the Season: UPS #WishesDelivered
You might remember my post about UPS hosting their #WishesDelivered campaign from now until December 31st. I teased you all that I made a wish and informed you that you can make a selfless and meaningful wish on behalf of someone in need and UPS will donate a $1 to their charity partners for every wish submitted, up to $100k!
So, like I teased earlier this month I was asked if I had ONE wish for someone (organization, person, etc.) who would it be and why?
My wish?
My husband does volunteer work for JMJ Life Center (For Pregnant Women) here in St Cloud FL and they are in desperate need of a computer. Right now they are using an old donated laptop that barely loads pages and they can’t even run software they need which makes helping the women nearly impossible and extremely frustrating. I would love it if they got a computer that worked.
I love giving back to my community and I think JMJ does that every day by helping by providing compassionate and loving guidance for women facing unexpected pregnancies. They also give out a lot of needed materials such as car seats, diapers, and other related things. It’s hard for them to see as many people as they get in a day because their computer (laptop) is OLD and it takes FOREVER for them to get the information they need.
This is my wish for this holiday season.
