The Enchanted Whirlpool Duet Washer & Dryer Teen Video Review

This year I was blessed to have been a participant in the Whirlpool Moms group that got to test drive the Duet Washer & Dryer set by Whirlpool.  We were asked to give our honest opinions about our new appliance via our blogs – the good, the bad, and the ugly.  During the past few months I experienced a lot of good, very little bad, and absolutely no ugly.

The Good

• Saves me a fortune in my water bill.  I saw a drastic cut in my bill when we switched to the Duet.
• Tons of options that allowed me to thoroughly clean whatever garments I needed cleaned including small loads, huge loads, pillows, towels, grease stained loads, and delicates.
• Quick drying options that sense the dryness of clothing.
• Enhanced touch up for that quick ironing via the dryer.
• Huge pedestals that eliminate the bending and stooping and provide valuable storage.

The Bad

• Finding Affresh Washer Cleaner locally.  I have to order it online.
• Cleaning my LONG hair out of the washer seal.  I know this is common, but I hate touching hair.

The Ugly

We experienced absolutely NO PROBLEMS whatsoever.

It isn’t that often that a “review” changes your life, but this one certainly did.  My son now does laundry without prompting. Amazing, right?  Most definitely.  What’s even more amazing is that he took it upon himself to make a video for me about the set…without prompting.  I was tickled.  I especially love that he referred to the “Enhanced” Touch Up button as the “Enchanted” Touch Up button.  I think he hit it right on the nose – there is something magical about the Whirlpool Duet Washer & Dryer.
