Staying Hydrated Results in Younger Looking Skin #AveenoDailyChallenge
It’s been three weeks of consistently drinking 64 ounces of water a day and using Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion. I believe at this point it’s now a new healthy habit! Woot! Beware, as easy as it sounds it wasn’t so easy. When I first started Day One and Day Two were kind of fun. I got to use my new Aqua Zinger, compliments of Aveeno and I made all kinds of great water concoctions that tasted delicious. I didn’t really notice any difference in my skin the first day or two, but I did spend a lot of time running to the potty. I normally walk around dehydrated so this was quite noticeable to me.
By the end of the second week I really started noticing a difference in my skin. I noticed it a lot in my face. Not only had the dry patches on my face disappeared, but the breakouts were diminishing as well as the blotches and age spots. My face started looking younger to me. I don’t want to mislead anyone, there were a few days where I got sidetracked and did not come close to the 64 ounces of water, but those days were few.
Now that the challenge is over I am amazed at what drinking water throughout the day and staying hydrated does to your skin. Living in Florida this is super important. I love how my skin feels and the Daily Moisturizing Lotion makes my legs feel silky. Prior to this I had not tried Aveeno because every other lotion I have used left me feeling greasy, but fortunately not only does Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion soak right in, but it’s fragrance-free and doesn’t overpower my perfume. I should mention it is hypoallergenic and noncomedogenic as well.
