Pedigree Brand Ambassador: Brindie is Looking Good!

Over the past couple weeks we have transitioned Brindie from her old brand of dog food over to Pedigree.  There are four (4) Universal Needs that we have been evaluating through this process:

  1. Skin & Coat (dull and flaky, average, shiny and soft)
  2. Oral Care (dirty, average, pearly white)
  3. Digestion (number of stools per day and quality)
  4. Immunity (how often does your pup get sick?)

Since Brindie is a brindle boxer her coat is very short and whenever there is a problem it seems to be more evident on her than our other boxers.  Prior to the switch I would say that her coat was dull and coarse.  Although she isn’t as soft as our old boxer Rocky, there has been quite a change in her coat.  I love the shine in her coat now and that’s without any formal grooming.

Since Brindie is only 4 years old her oral condition is relatively good.  I wouldn’t pass her off as having pearly whites, but she has a good set of chompers and doesn’t have any problem eating her large breed Pedigree formula.  She devours it every day.

As far as her digestion she has had no problems and her stools are firm and look normal to me.  Again, I am not going to run out and inspect her pooh…it just isn’t my style.

Immunity?  She is probably the healthiest dog I have ever owned.

Do you ever make a conscious effort to check these four essential indicators of your dog’s health?  If you notice any problems in any of the areas Pedigree might be the answer for you.  To learn more about Pedigree and the Adoption Drive be sure to check out their sites.
