Whether you are in the Orlando area for business, pleasure, or because you live here there is a hidden jewel you need to know about, Reflections Spa – Salon at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa. You don’t have to travel far from Mickey’s front door to find a private oasis to pamper yourself since Reflections Spa – Salon is located right off 535 in Lake Beuna Vista. The resort itself is a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel and there is shuttle transportation available to and from the major theme parks.

The menu of services offered at Reflections features a wide variety of treatments. I was able to sample a few including the Paradise Sugar Glow, Hydrating Island Bath, and a Classic Pedicure. I overheard some of the other ladies who were at the event talk about their massages and other treatments and they were all very pleased. My favorite? The Paradise Sugar Glow!
The Paradise Sugar Glow
Relax and enjoy as milk from the coconut is gently massaged into the skin followed by an application of pure sugar cane and tropical nut oils ridding the body of dead skin, elasticity and replenishing moisture loss.
I found this treatment much more enjoyable than it sounds. The massage was paced just right and the application of the sugar was not at all abrasive. The smell of the Pure Fiji product line was divine and my skin felt so much younger when the treatment was complete. I would do this again in a heartbeat!
Note: For those of you here on holiday this is a great way to unwind from a busy schedule at the parks while doing something great for your skin.
Hydrating Island Bath
Pure coconut milk from Fiji will hydrate, soothe and relax your body and mind as you drift on an ocean of bliss.
I am not a bath taker normally, but this treatment immediately following the Paradise Sugar Glow made a great combination. After all that wonderful oil was rubbed into my skin and exfoliated sitting in a pure coconut milk bath just allowed my skin to soak in the oils deeper. My only “complaint” would be that the water was really loud and I would have been more relaxed had there been a timer for me to keep an eye on for the time instead of listening for my cue that my time was up. It wasn’t so much of an issue that I wouldn’t do it again.
Classic Pedicure
Relax as your feet are soaked and exfoliated, followed by our expert polish.
If you are any where around and don’t come here for great conversation and an incredible pedicure you are nuts! Not only was this one of the most enjoyable pedicures ever, but the conversation was great too!
After all these wonderful treatments there is no better place to be than in the Sauna – unwinding from the stresses of the day…so don’t forget to allow yourself an extra 15 minutes when you’re done.
