With summer right around the corner it’s time to break out the Nestlé Drumsticks!  Ever since I was a little girl I have associated summer with Nestlé Drumsticks ice cream cones.  Every time I heard the bell from the ice cream truck coming through the neighborhood I would run inside for my quarter (not to date myself or anything ) so I could buy my Drumstick ice cream cone from the ice cream man.  Now, it’s my 9 year old son who craves the Nestlé Drumstick ice cream cone on those hot summer days.

Join Nestlé Drumstick as they countdown to the first day of everyone’s favorite season of the year and toast to the first day of summer.  They are inviting fans to “Raise a Cone to Summer”  by submitting a photo of them raising a Drumstick cone either virtually or in real for a chance to win a lifetime supply of Drumstick cones.  If you submit a photo of  you or someone you know getting into the summer spirit by raising a cone from now  until June 21st you could be eligible to win!

Nestlé Drumstick Fun Fact

Nestlé Drumstick is the Original Sundae Cone. In 1928, the Parker Brothers took the waffle cone to the next level but adding a chocolate coating to ice cream and covering the top with nuts. One of the brothers’ wives said it looked like a fried chicken leg and thus, the “Drumstick” novelty was born!
