It’s time to get your grill on America! Now is the time to start searching for those great 4th of July recipes to feature at your holiday table. Our basic menu always include ribs, potato salad, corn on the cob, and watermelon.
Let’s focus on BBQ Recipes today with this delicious KRAFT inspired smoked BBQ rib recipe, Smok’n Barbecued Ribs features a sweet and spicy flavorful twang.

- ½ cup water
- 1 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
- ½ cup cilantro leaves
- 1 sm. can chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
- 1 tsp. orange zest
- HEAT grill to medium heat.
- PLACE half the ribs in single layer on large sheet heavy-duty foil. Bring up foil sides. Double fold top and one end to seal packet. Add 1/4 cup water to packet through open end. Double fold remaining end, leaving room for heat circulation inside. Repeat to make second packet. Grill 45 min. to 1 hour or until ribs are done.
- MEANWHILE, blend remaining ingredients in blender until smooth.
- REMOVE ribs from foil; discard foil. Return ribs to grill; brush with sauce. Grill 15 min., turning and brushing occasionally with sauce.
These sweet and spicy ribs are a hit in our home every time we serve them. On rainy days these are equally easy to prepare indoors. First, parboil the ribs for 30 – 40 minutes with your favorite seasonings and then pop them in the oven at 400 degrees, basting and turning every 10 – 15 minutes for an hour. The layered flavors are just perfect!

Itried these and they were delicious. Can be done in the oven or on the grill and would be great for a summer barbeque.
