It’s that time of the year again.
Are you ready for some football? And who can watch football, especially the “Big Game”, without snacking on chicken wings and all the yummy foods associated with the sport? We’ve been doing it all Fall/Winter, but this Sunday we are preparing to do it BIG! Big doesn’t have to be cumbersome or too much work to be good, as a matter of fact some of the best taking Big Game favorites aren’t really difficult to make at all. Seriously, who wants to be in the kitchen all day when there is football to be watched? Not this girl!
With as little as three or four ingredients you can create tasty dips that will make your chicken wings stand out above all else. One of our favorite’s is our Avocado Ranch Dip or sometimes we add a tablespoon or two of bacon pieces to make Bacon Avocado Ranch Dip. We’re smart people and when we work in the kitchen preparing for the game we work smart. As a base to our dips we use Naturally Fresh® Brand Salad Dressings. Whether you choose the Classic Ranch or the Lite Ranch for this particular recipe you will still love the outcome. It’s our secret ingredient and theirs is buttermilk (nonfat in the Lite Ranch). For our wings we also include the standard Bleu Cheese and Lite Bleu Cheese dressings made with buttermilk (nonfat in the Lite Bleu Cheese) and aged blue cheese chunks.
Avocado Ranch Dip Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 jar Naturally Fresh Classic Ranch (or Lite Ranch) Salad Dressing
- 1 whole avocado
- 4 tablespoons cilantro (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons crispy bacon crumbles (optional or for garnish)
Instructions
- Simply chop avocado into small pieces, add cilantro, and pour in dressing.
- Beat until well mixed and smooth.
- Stir in bacon (optional).
- Garnish with cilantro and bacon crumbles.
