The Best Thing Since Sliced Meat

Everybody is always talking about the best thing since sliced bread but for those of us watching our carbs, it’s all about the sliced meat. The thinner the slice the better. Budding Premium Deli meat is one of my favorite snack foods because it’s delicious, you can roll it up and take it anywhere, and it pairs nicely with lots of other foods.

When most people think of sliced meats, sandwiches are the first thing that come to mind but for me there is so much more.

Beef and cheese roll ups are a classic in my house and one of the kids favorite items to take hiking and kayaking. Before dad takes them off on another one of his woodland adventures they always check his backpack to make sure he has them. Whether out in the woods or at home in the backyard, beef and cheese is always sure to please.

One of my favorite combinations is turkey and pickle but when I’m feeling fancy, I’ll roll up a cucumber. I love fresh fruits and haven’t found a combination of fruit and meat that I haven’t liked yet.

Black forest ham and pineapple go together quite nicely as do strawberries and blueberries.

On occasion I will have a beef and cheese with the kids but I’m more of a turkey and carrot kind of girl.
