Hidden away in a piece of Florida is a resort that looks and feels like something you would find in the Canadian Rockies, it’s called Streamsong Resort. Not are the sawgrass and palm trees hidden, but the landscape gives way to rolling hills, pristine lakes, and wildlife galore. The resort focuses on golf, archery, clay shooting, and bass fishing for the men while the women get spoiled in the grotto-style spa with six unique pool experiences. I know, because I was lucky enough to spend a weekend there with hubby to refresh and unwind. While I relaxed in the spa and outdoors at the lakeside pool he got to roam the nature trails, improve his archery skills, and check out the award-winning Streamsong Red and Streamsong Blue golf course (Streamsong Black coming soon).
Enjoying the sunset after a long day of activities was just what I needed. The thing about Streamsong Resort is there is something to do there for everyone and if you are into activities you have to see what hubby did and shared on Live and Let Blog. Here is just a sample of their offerings:
o A round of golf on the award-winning Streamsong Red or Streamsong Blue
o A spa treatment in Streamsong’s grotto-style spa with six unique pool experiences
o A guided bass fishing excursion on the resort’s prolific lakes
o A round of sporting clays on the resort’s challenging, yet fun course
o Or an archery session, complete with expert instruction on how to improve your aim
As guests at the resort we explored all it had to offer with a group of amazing bloggers and sampled some of the tasty things you can find at the resort to please anyone’s culinary cravings! Everywhere we ate whether it was for breakfast, lunch, or dinner was equally delicious. From the deep-fried peanut butter cookies to the huge juicy scallops experiencing the food at Streamsong was as amazing as the resort.
If you are looking for one of the top 100 golf courses, delicious cuisine, wildlife, and a relaxing spa to boot be sure to check out Streamsong Resort.
