Blackberry Z10 Apps
The new BlackBerry Z10 from Verizon Wireless is by far one of the best BlackBerry phone on the market. I should know, I think I’ve owned them all. The new look and redesigned features incorporated into the BlackBerry Z10 operating system make it an amazing phone with great apps and wide range of options. With its BBM technology you can switch from text to voice with a minute hand gesture. This allows you to not only decide which form of communication that you want employ at any time but it also allows you to share what you see on your screen with the person that you are communicating with. The BlackBerry app site, called BlackBerry World, now hosts over one hundred thousand free and paid apps and counting. From music to games, you will find that they have a plethora of great apps for your pleasure and convenience. There will likely be more applications coming soon since the latest news from Unity Game Engine, that they will soon be dropping their hefty licensing fees for BlackBerry independent game application developers. This is great news since my biggest fear was how behind BlackBerry would be from iOS and Android.
The hub allows you to streamline your social networks into one convenient place on the Z10 and this can cut down on a lot of switching between applications to socialize with friends and family. You will no longer need to close one social media app just to go to another. Whether you Facebook, Twitter or have LinkedIn, you can now control your social feeds right in the palm of your hand. Receive push notifications, requests and even get birthday and event notices all in one place.
Not all the features and apps are focused on fun, the BlackBerry World for Work apps will have you sending and storing files safely and securely while providing you with the mobile application office tools that free you from your desk. Blackberry’s Z10 is just as much the business professional’s choice as it ever was, it’s just more useful than the other models and more fun at the same time. I found this really useful when clients needed proposals and I was out of the office.
The Z10’s Smart Tag capabilities are also a welcome addition. You can forego the need for business card exchanges with this app. You can quickly exchange your contact information from Blackberry to Blackberry. The Smart Tags can also be transformed into QR codes or NFC Tags for your convenience. This is super convenient when at conferences or other events.
From GPS maps to Revenge of The Pigs, BlackBerry apps have something for all. It is not just a great source of apps but with the BBM options, you have many ways to use and share them. These innovations brings BlackBerry into the arena of competition that has formerly been reserved for Android and iPhone applications. Though there are those who say that it is too little too late, they should not be so quick to judge. BlackBerry by Verizon has stepped up and they now offer more than their competitors seem to at the moment. That is to say, all the above and security as well.
From office apps like BlackBerry World for Work apps focused on files and calendars to your favorite music, social feeds and games from BlackBerry world, you can switch seamlessly, safely and securely between any of them. This makes your Z10 phone a one stop place for all of your communication and recreation needs. No longer will you need multiple mobile devices for the many aspects of your life.
