My mom decided to share a recipe with me that she found on Food.com because she said it was really yummy. I think it actually sounds really good and I might try it myself this weekend. Where else are you going to get a nice piece of Pecan Pie for just 4 Carbs?
Almond Crust
11 Carbs whole shell- 1.5 Cups almond meal or almond flour
- 3 Tablespoons melted butter
- Artificial sweetner equal to 3 tablespoons sugar
In pie pan pour almond flour and sweeterner and stir, add melted butter and finger press to pie pan.
Filling
- 3 Beaten eggs
- 1 cup Splenda or Stevia
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tblsp melted butter
- 1 cup sugar free maple syrup or Mrs Butterworth’s Sugar free
- 1.5 cups of pecans
Beat eggs and Splenda , add vanilla, butter & syrup. Visit Mrs. Butterworth’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/MrsButterworths, select the green spring bottle design and type in the secret code: 79129–13G for a fun surprise for you kids.*
Then add nuts. Pour into unbaked almond crust and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. This is NOT a sponsored post.

Pie on a diet? Well, OK!
I know, pie on a diet, what an awesome idea!
Oh that looks so gooey and yummy!
oh my yum!
Thank you very much for this recipe, at last i found a decent low carb, diabetic friendly pecan pie recipe that i searched for so long. Thank you or this recipe i can bake my sugar free pecan pie for my aunt who loves pecan pie but unfortunately can’t eat one because she is diabetic.
I will make one of this tonight to surprise my aunt, i know she’ll be very happy with it now that she can actually eat one again after 5 years. I’m really glad about it.
This pie looks delicious. I love both almonds and pecans, so I am going to try this one!
I love pecan pie but I’ve never found a low carb recipe that I liked. May have to give this one a try.
This recipe looks and smells (it’s in the oven now) wonderful! You show the nutritional info, but I don’t see the number of servings. Will you tell me how many servings on which you based the carb count? Thanks!
Eight servings if I remember correctly.
Just looked it up and have great news, the serving size is SIX – not eight so you get bigger pieces…lol
How big a serving?
1 piece or 1/8 of the pie
I made this pie and it was really delicious . Thank you for this awesome recipe.
is this total carb per slice or net carbs?
is this total carbs or net carbs per serving/slice?
