Helping The World See with OneSight

ONESIGHT.orgHave you ever been somewhere and the view is breathtaking? Do you remember the first time your baby smiled at you? Remember those days when you were in the kitchen with mom or grandma learning how to make the family’s favorite dessert? There are so many memories of wonderful events in our life and the ones that are the best we remember vividly. Now what if I told you that there are people globally who do not have the luxury of seeing clearly. Have you ever taken a picture and you were so mad that it came out blurry? Imagine seeing the world like that….. Blurry……All the time.

1.1 billion people without access to vision care

OneSight’s mission is to provide access to vision care globally and YOU can be a part of it. Just $1 can make a difference! You can donate to help the cause by visiting onesight.org for the 1.1 billion without access to vision care.

OneSight

OneSight is an independent nonprofit committed to eradicating the global vision care crisis. Their promise is simple: they will not stop until the world can see. They provide access to eye exams and glasses to underserved communities around the world, both internationally and domestically with immediate and long-term vision care needs.

Onesight

They believe vision care can become readily available to every community, country and continent in our lifetime and so do I with our help! Over 27 years, OneSight has helped 9 million people in 41 countries and 47 states see clearly. They released a study that reveals a startling finding: 1.1 billion people around the world need glasses but don’t yet have access to vision care. That’s 1 in 7 of us!

Here’s a fun way to help spread the word and bring attention to OneSight’s mission. We all love selfies, take a picture of yourself and your family showing your handglasses and share via social using hashtag #HelpTheWorldSee
