Pork Chops with Maple Gravy and Apple Bacon Hash Recipe

This week, 10/1 – 10/7 you will find $2.50 off boneless pork chops and roasts at Costco.  In celebration of the pork sale I’m giving away $50 Costco Cash!

DETAILS ABOUT PORK SALE AT COSTCO

Did you know that October was National Pork Month?  In celebration Costco is offering discounts on top pork cuts from chops and roasts to pork tenderloin and boneless loins. Costco members can take advantage of weekly savings ranging from $2.00-$2.50.  As part of National Pork Month I am going to host a #PorkParty this week using the $2.50 off at Costco on my favorite cut of pork to prepare a dish to share with you all this weekend.

Pork Makes the Party! Due to Pork’s versatility and its ability to pair perfectly with a variety of foods (like yummy apples) it makes the perfect dish to feature during your holiday gatherings this season.  Check back later this week to see what I come up with…in the meantime enter to win $50 Costco cash to get you started.

Temperature News: The USDA reduced the temperature guideline for pork loins, chops and roasts from 160 to 145 degrees F, with a three minute rest. This will yield a juicy, flavorful product that may be pinker in color than most home cooks are used to. Ground pork, like all ground meat, should be cooked to 160 degrees.

  1. […] Last week I mentioned that Costco was having a sale on pork with up to $2.50 off boneless pork chops & loins.  As promised I stopped by and picked up some ingredients to make an Asian Boneless Pork Loin.  I was pretty amazed at the price.  I’m not exactly sure what I expected, but when I realized the $2.50 was off the price marked on the package I was pretty shocked.  I got the hugest boneless pork loin I have ever seen for only $17.21!  I am cutting it in half for my Asian Boneless Pork Loin.  Be sure to enter my giveaway for a $50 Costco Gift Card!
