This October I am heading over to Best Buy to upgrade our air conditioning unit and bedroom TV. Why October you ask? October is Energy Awareness Month and it’s a great time to upgrade to a new energy efficient appliance, television or computer to save money on your home energy bills. We recently had an auditor from the power company come out to see why our power bill is so astronomically high and he told us the window unit we have in the living room costs almost a dollar every hour we use the thing.
