Want to Learn How an Air Conditioner Works?
While some are still freezing their butts off, we are turning on our air conditioning back on. It was over 80 degrees in the house yesterday if you can believe it! As I flipped the thermostat to cool, I had an epiphany. I wanted to learn how an air conditioner works.
It gets hot down here in Florida and we have recently dealt with HVAC problems so I figured it would be a good idea to learn a little on the matter. I found a few articles online that gave me just what I was looking for. I was surprised at how much I already knew, but I learned even more in my research. I learned what an air conditioner does, the three main parts, and the function of each part. Did you know the three main parts are a compressor, a condenser and an evaporator?
Last year we called out a company that charged us an arm and a leg to fix our A/C but we had to call them back out multiple times. After they finally managed to fix the A/C system the heat (which worked before) was rendered inoperative. I went outside to inspect their work and I noticed a bunch of twigs jammed in a contact switch. I don’t ever want to waste my time or money again so I am really glad I learned a little more about how A/C works.
