Are You Waking Up Tired? Here is Why

James and I have been married for a long time. We have slept nearly every night of our relationship in the same bed, if not the same room. That’s a lot of nights and the ironic part is that he is a borderline insomniac and I have sleep apnea. However, I also suffer from nasal congestion and mouth breathing. To make matters worse there are certain times during the year that are worse than others. For instance, when my allergies are at their worse or when I have the dreaded cold I tend to keep James awake most of the night with my mouth breathing. On these particular nights we both wake up feeling tired, grumpy and a lot less enchanted with each other. I would be lying if I didn’t say this causes a lot of problems in the bedroom. A good night’s rest is paramount for both physical and emotional well-being and for a marriage.

“Let’s Get Our Nights Right!”

Introducing Breathe Right® nasal strips!

breathe right 2

Better than a marriage counselor, Breathe Right® nasal strips make it so that I can breathe better and that means everyone sleeps better. I love the ones I recently got that are infused with Lavender. Not only was my nasal congestion immediately relieved (the product can open your nose up to 38% more than decongestant sprays alone) but I loved the faint scent of the lavender. The lavender is relaxing and since the nasal strips are drug-free it is a great way to get good, natural sleep. Because some people have sensitive skin they can use Breathe Right®  Extra Clear nasal strips since they are latex free, but equally effective. I think these are the ones I would suggest to the single people who feel they have to look good, even when asleep.  <grin>

So, if you or your partner aren’t getting restful sleep due to nasal congestion and mouth breathing, try Breathe Right® nasal strips, but be sure to read the application instructions thoroughly. If you don’t apply it correctly it won’t work right.

How to Apply

Applying Breathe Right nasal strips is quite simple. First, wash and thoroughly dry your nose.  Moisture or makeup on your nose can limit how well the strip sticks.  Next, peel the strip away from the liner, place it on your nose and press down to ensure it is on securely; pressing and rubbing for five to ten seconds is usually enough.  Placing it properly on your nose is important in ensuring you achieve the correct results. As you can see, the strip should sit on the low middle area of your nose. Overnight, it is normal to see some slight lifting on the edges of the strip.
