Welcome to Life with Lisa

In January 2009 I started my first blog, Mom of 2 Boys, Wife of 1.  I was not working at the time and while surfing the net I found this option in Google where you could start your own site.  I did it.  It was fun and I was excited about learning something new.  I totally engrossed myself into it and posted recipes, stories about my family, frugal finds, and other things.  One day I decided to do a giveaway and my focus and blog slowly began to change.  My personal posts eventually got lost in product reviews and giveaways and after a while there just wasn’t time or room for me anymore.

I began to miss sharing my life and those types of posts with my readers.  I missed that personal connection that happens through comments focused on what I had to say or share.  I missed you.  Although my blog followers were growing almost daily, my connection with my readers was not.  I had to solve my problem, but there was no easy fix.  I thought about stopping the reviews and giveaways, but I truly enjoy sharing my experiences trying new products/brands/services with my readers.  I think people truly want to hear what I have to say and I like having the medium to share my experiences with others.  You will still find reviews and giveaways at Mom of 2 Boys, Wife of 1.  For now, that blog will stay.  Closing that Mom of 2 Boys is not the answer.
