TV Gone Social: Join Me on Beamly
Yes, you read it right. I’ve jumped on the bandwagon and signed up for Beamly. Why? Because I’m somewhat of a television-oholic. Don’t get me wrong, I do not sit in front of the TV every night like a junky, but there are a few shows I do not miss…ever. Until now I would tweet or Facebook occasionally about the show but with over 72k followers it’s really hard to catch the conversation. With Beamly I can join various rooms with like minded individuals and really enjoy the conversations. Another bonus is Beamly often hosts live chats with the actual stars from the shows!
The Voice
If you don’t watch The Voice I’m shocked. Not only does this show produce some of the best new talent in the industry, but you get to drool the entire time over Adam Levine and laugh at Blake Shelton. It’s the best of both worlds! Our room has over 15k fans and tons of opinions on who is going to win this season. The LIVE Shows are about to begin so join us this week to share your predictions!
Game of Thrones
If you aren’t watching this one you don’t know what you are missing! Although we are still a relatively small group on Beamly with just over 1k fans we are die hard viewers! This group gets emotional over the plot and the characters and it’s always fun to see what conspiracies everyone can come up with each week.
(Spoiler) Who killed the King? Well who cares! He’s dead and the majority of the viewers are thrilled. I do have an idea who might have done it. Join the group and find out!
Silicon Valley
There have only been two episodes but our small group of 11 don’t care. We still gossip about it in our room and we are hoping others get on board and join in. This show has many similarities to the hit The Big Bang Theory and it’s based around a small tech start-up in the Silicon Valley. The trials and tribulations really hit home with me as I experience some of the same obstacles in my small business.

As you can see there are a wide variety of groups on Beamly from reality TV like Survivor to drama such as Grey’s Anatomy. I’m really feeling this new social TV site. Not only can you access via your tablet or computer, but there is also an App for it.
