 Try a Mini Cruise

The mini cruise is the perfect holiday for those who have never tried cruising. If you’re not sure whether you’ll like it or not – if you’re worried about seasickness, or about getting bored, or about the size of the cabins – try a mini cruise.

Mini cruises are, as the name suggests, a condensed cruise holiday. They are typically just one or two nights long, and follow a similar format to standard cruises by providing plenty of on-board entertainment and cuisine. You will usually stop at one destination which, when sailing from the UK, will often be a nearby city such as Amsterdam in The Netherlands or Bruges in Belgium. In most cases, you’ll benefit from all the usual first-rate facilities such as restaurants, bars, evening entertainment and kids’ facilities, so you can really get a good taste for cruising without committing to a full week.

Another benefit of a mini cruise is the cost. If you’re after a fun weekend away or you’re hoping to scale down your holiday plans a little, why not take a mini cruise? It’s a great way to enjoy a couple of nights away, doing something different whilst still visiting a great destination or two.

If you’re already based abroad you’ll also find a fantastic range of mini cruises departing from global ports, heading out for a night or two to visit fabulous destinations. This is a great way to explore the area and means you can take in all sorts of wonderful locations – for instance, you can take a two-night cruise from Miami in Florida to the port of Nassau in the Bahamas. How’s that for a bit of extra holiday luxury?

So from Bruges to Barcelona, Amsterdam to Paris, Sydney to the Bahamas, where will your mini cruise adventure take you?
