Dream Building: How Do You Spend Your Forever Prize?

I haven’t won my Forever Prize yet, but there is still hope.

For as long as I can remember the Publishers Clearing House was synonymous with the chance to have someone show up at your door with an oversized cardboard check, balloons, flowers, and television cameras.  I remember the brownish colored envelopes that came in the mail outlining my chance to enter.  Immediately my mind would drift off for hours as I contemplated all the wonderful things I would do with the money.

I always said I would buy a car and a house and a house for my parents.  With the remainder of the money I planned on traveling.  Now that I am a mom my dreams are a bit more realistic.  First I would find a lawyer and an accountant to help me make the right decisions and then I would pay off all my debt.  If I never see another student loan in my life it won’t be too soon.  Once all my bills were current I would purchase a car, probably a Ford Escape or Fusion and an F-150 for hubby and a convertible Mustang for my oldest son.  (Do you see the Ford theme?) I would still help out my parents because that is the right thing to do, but I doubt I would spend the rest of my life traveling.  I see myself purchasing a farm somewhere far away from people or relocating to a secluded beach.

Last August 31, 2012 John Wyllie of White City, Oregon won the $5,000 A Week “Forever” Prize from Publishers Clearing House.  For him, those hours spent drifting off contemplating all the wonderful things he would do with the money turned into a reality.  Not only that but because he won the Forever Prize his legacy will be passed down to whoever he deems worthy and they will continue getting the $5,000 A Week “Forever” Prize!

How do you decide who to leave all that money to?  As a parent I would have to leave it to my children, but maybe there would be a way to leave it to a charity? Or a group home? Or to the Humane Society?

Well, it’s your turn to start dreaming because the $5,000 A Week FOREVER PRIZE from Publishers Clearing House is GUARANTEED to be awarded again this August.  So let’s start dream-building.  To enter simply fill out the Forever Prize form found here
