Wouldn’t it be nice if your car had 4G LTE Wi-Fi? Well, consider it nice because Chevrolet has gone and put 4G LTE Wi-Fi into their cars, trucks and crossover vehicles for the first time in recorded history! Gone are the days of wandering around looking for Wi-Fi signals and places to charge your device. Thanks to Chevrolet, you can enjoy the Internet in the comfort and security of your vehicle!
Best part is you no longer have to cut through the herd of scarf wielding hipsters at your local coffee shop to enjoy the Internet!
Staying connected is becoming easier and easier with Chevrolet’s technological advances. Having Internet access ready in your vehicle makes traveling much less stressful as you can check your email, comments on your blog and whatever else it is you do right in your car!
Chevrolet does not encourage distracted driving, which is why Internet access is limited to passengers and is only available to drivers when they are parked. That way you stay on the road while your passengers are LOL’ing at that funny meme in their feed or as they watch the latest celebrity do the Ice Bucket Challenge…and if you need to look up an address on the fly, they are there to do it for you.
Although we don’t have one of these newfangled Chevrolet’s, nor are we getting one for writing this article (though that would be nice, just saying), having a Chevrolet with available built in 4G LTE Wi-Fi would drastically change our lives. We travel a bit more than the average person, which means we more often than not have kids in the car. Keeping them entertained would be SO much easier with this feature. They could play to their hearts’ content on their own tablets and chat with their friends, which is especially convenient as they become restless and fussy in the back seat.
Having a connection that is stronger and more reliable than what I have on my smartphone would make working from the road so much more enjoyable and would definitely increase my productivity. How would you use your Wi-Fi?
Using your phone as a hotspot is actually quite cumbersome (and it never seems to work for me) and inconvenient if you think about it. Having to plug in all those cords and keeping up with multiple devices can be a real pain. Just imagine being able to get into your car, turn the key and BAM just like that you have Internet!
