Summer Drink Recipes: Entertaining with Pure Leaf Iced Tea

My family gets excited about iced tea, especially Pure Leaf Iced Tea.  Since we live in the south sweet tea is a staple in our home, year round.  We serve sweet tea for most meals and we use Pure Leaf all the time when we do not home brew. Recently Pure Leaf enlisted Top Chef  judge Gail Simmons to come up with some great drink recipes featuring Pure Leaf Iced Tea and shared them on the Pure Leaf Facebook recipe tab.   You can find a bunch of recipes for various drinks including Chocolatea Banana Smoothies, Green Tea Cosmos (shown below), and Fruit-Tea Smoothies.  We tried a couple of the different drinks and my kids were particularly fond of the Fruit-Tea Smoothies so we decided to experiment to see what delicious concoction we could come up with…

GREEN TEA COSMO

Servings: 1 | Prep Time: 5 minutes

3 ounces of Pure Leaf™ Green Tea with Honey 1 ounce orange juice 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice 1/2 ounce cranberry juice cocktail In shaker filled with ice, and all ingredients. Shake well, then strain into chilled Martini glass. Garnish, if desired, with lime peel. Tip: For a special twist, substitute 1 ounce vodka for 1 ounce orange juice.

For our Pure Leaf Iced Tea favorite we choose the Unsweet Pure Leaf Iced Tea with a shot of peach flavored schnapps.
