I recently had the pleasure of meeting the owners when I picked up my 40 lbs. of bulk boneless, skinless chicken breasts for $1.79 lb. Not only were they down-to-earth, hardworking men but they were out doing the deliveries and meeting their customers (thus cutting the cost of their services and passing the savings on to us). They were genuinely interested in what their customers thought about their products and welcomed suggestions on how to make their services better. It was refreshing.
I can write all day about how nice the owners are but what is more important is how good their product was that I picked up. Now, I’m not stranger to bulk chicken, I’ve gotten it before from another company. I can tell you that this chicken was a lot leaner with a lot less waste to clean (I cut off all the fat). It took my son and I only 30 minutes to filet half the breasts (they were HUGE), make strips, make chunks and wrap in foil to freeze. It’s been over a month and I still have a shelf left. Every breast has turned out moist and juicy, a welcome change from the other batch I bought somewhere else.
