Live A Little: Capturing Life

Life has been crazy.  I am sure many of you can agree.  I just noticed that my youngest son has 2 more month of school and then he is out for the summer.  Next thing I know he will be off to college (getting a bit ahead of myself, but still).  This weekend we decided to go out on Saturday and enjoy the weather and capture the life that was coming out all around us.  Here is what we found.

Anole Enjoying the Sun

Blooming Flowers

Sap on a Dying Tree

The idea of Live a Little was started by a friend, Katja from Skimbaco.  A group of us are posting various posts on Monday’s sharing the theme “Live A Little” and hope you will join us in doing so.  Life is just too short.

How are you going to Live A Little?

  1. What a lovely idea! And I love these beautiful photos.

  2. Lisa, I am inspired. My girls all love photography. Such a simple way to connect with them as well as nature. I can see all of us out together with our cameras having a really nice time. Thx

  3. I love the idea – and your photos, and what a role model you are for your son, showing how to find beauty right on your backyard!

  4. I love how boys can have fun hammering away at a piece of concrete and gathering a bucket full of rocks! I can almost smell that blooming flower. Love the random. We need to make more time for that!

  5. Wonderful shot! I find the concept if Capturing Life really genial!

  6. I can’t believe how fast this year is going by, either. Definitely time for spring break and some slower family moments!

  7. Well, I can’t believe it is almost spring, but I am glad we have a bit longer before school gets out! Looks like you had a great day. I can’t wait for warmer weather so we can spend more time outside.

  8. You can’t notice the days and months passing by. Imagine how fast it is. Well, if I were you, give more time to your son now, because you’ll never know, one day you wake up, he’s a full grown up and you can’t do anything about it anymore.

  9. These are great photos,I really love your collection, you perfectly capture this great photos.
