Halloween: Pumpkin Spice Latte Crispy Rice Treats
It’s our favorite time of the year at The Samples household. We are huge Halloween fans. When it comes to Halloween decorating and festivities we do Halloween in a big way. One of our favorite things to do is host a Halloween Party with yummy Halloween inspired snacks. Every year we come up with different things to add the menu. A few years ago we did Jumbo Pumpkin Mallows dunked in chocolate. This year we featured Pumpkin Latte Crispy Rice Treats.
Decorating the pumpkin is one of our family’s favorite things to do. Every year we have a pumpkin decorating contest and this year we are having a Pumpkin Latte Crispy Rice Treats decorating contest. What fun things do you do with your family for Halloween?
Halloween: Pumpkin Spice Latte Crispy Rice Treats RecipeIngredients
- 16 JUMBO Pumpkin Mallows
- 2 T. Maxwell House International Latte Pumpkin Spice
- 5 T. butter
- 6 cups crispy rice cereal
- Chocolate Candy
- Green Icing
Instructions
- Over a medium low heat melt butter and chopped JUMBO Pumpkin Mallows, stirring constantly. Once marshmallows start to melt add Maxwell House Pumpkin Spice. Continue to stir until melted completely then remove from stove. Stir in rice cereal until completely coated. Move into a bowl and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- Once they are slightly cooled form into a tight ball. Add the chocolate candy on top for the stem and green icing for the leaves. Have fun and decorate your pumpkins any way you want. The kids love it!
