Kindergarten Graduation 12 More Years To Go

Today marks the end of another school year.  My oldest (Ethan) will be a Senior next year – OMG!  My youngest (James) will be in 1st Grade.  (Insert sobs here.)

James is a challenging child.  If you don’t believe me you can ask his teachers.  You can ask his Kindergarten teachers or his Pre-K teachers, he is a tough kid.  If he runs out of meds or we forget to take them all hell breaks loose.  However, all hell can break loose for no apparent reason when it comes to James on any given day – with or without meds.  I’m not sure how many notes get sent home in a school year about him not listening, “falling” out of his seat, not doing his work, sleeping in class…(you get my point), but I know it is a lot.  With all that being said, when James has a good day – it’s a super good day.  He is truly a very loving, intelligent, and fun boy and his teachers love him (for the most part).  James is smart.  He’s very smart.

Anyway, his award ceremony and family picnic were last week and I thought I would share a small pictorial review of the event with you all.

Proof that he “graduated”

He willfully hugged Ms. Green before getting his achievement award

Ever hear that saying, “when he’s good, he’s very good….”

He made his teacher cry – was she touched that he hugged her or glad he was movin’ on?

Now, not 5 minutes after touching his teachers heart…he is “booing” the other children and gets in trouble.

Ms. Edwards was wonderful this year helping with James.

We only played at the Family Picnic for about an hour.

It was hot and come to find out…

James had Strep Throat!

I love him to death and I am so proud of him.
