How to Make Tahini for Hummus Recipe from Scratch
I recently wanted to make some homemade hummus from some chickpeas I had on hand but realized I didn’t have any tahini. Tahini provides that flavor in hummus that you can’t quite get otherwise and you can purchase it in some specialty stores but it really is easier and much better tasting if you make it homemade from scratch.

Only sesame seeds and olive oil? Wow! Whenever I hear ‘tahini’ it makes me imagine it’s some complicated, exotic dipping sauce for some island dish. I’m always learning new things from you 🙂
I was as shocked as you were…lol. Glad too because I had all the ingredients!
