Are you doing your annual holiday shopping? It’s Black Friday weekend, and Cyber Monday is right around the corner. It’s also time to get out those holiday greeting cards. I’m hoping you’ll send me one. I love getting Christmas cards. I especially love getting cards and gifts that give back and support good causes, like the American Diabetes Association (ADA). This year I was diagnosed with diabetes, so this is something close to my heart. Since 1971 the ADA Gift of Hope program has been putting out a Holiday Gift catalog to help raise funds for their mission.

What’s their mission you ask?

To fund research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes. They deliver services to the hundreds of communities that are at high risk of diabetes and pre-diabetes. They provide objective and credible education and information to those recently diagnosed with diabetes. They give voice to those denied their rights of because of diabetes.

Since I learned that I’m diabetic, I have been fortunate enough to benefit from some of the educational programs offered by the American Diabetes Association. Many of these programs are due to funds raised by their Gift of Hope Holiday Catalog. They really have some beautiful things available and there is FREE SHIPPING on orders of $60 or more. You can find their online shop here.

One of the things I found in the catalog was and Identity Theft Protection Stamp for $12.99. This makes a great stocking stuffer! I love it because I no longer have to rip all the magazines I donate. I can just run this stamp over it and it hides my address. There are tons of uses and it’s especially good gift for those relatives who are very private. However, there is much more than that in the catalog and I personally fell in love with their holiday decor.

The Festive Felt Advent Calendar, Illuminated Holly Crackle Vase and Frosty the LED Snowman are just small samples of great gifts all at a reasonable price. So if you are wanting to support an amazing charity and give the Gift of Hope, please order something this holiday season.

I think I am going to buy the Theft Protection Stamp. What a good idea for use before you donate your magazines.
