As fall semester approaches, many young adults are leaving home for the first time starting new lives. Going out on your own can be overwhelming and starting college can be quite stressful. Finding everything you need to start the year off and to keep you going can be quite a challenge. Make Dollar General your one stop shopping destination for classroom supplies, dishes, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, food, alarm clocks, and even dorm room décor.  My son and I went looking for dorm room type of products and we found a charcoal grill and a set of grilling tools for the unbelievably low price of $20! College isn’t college if you don’t tailgate and this was perfect!

As many of you know, my oldest son is starting college this year. He was able to find many of his classroom supplies at our Dollar General to start the year off.

He was so impressed by the prices he decided to shop there year round. 

It was a great learning experience for him to compare prices and get the most for his money.  I was even impressed how much he was able to buy with the money he had.  He isn’t known for being thrifty.  He would have spent much more money at the school book store for the same items. He was able to get a “mother load” of pens, pencils, paper, notebooks, highlighters, folders and personal hygiene items for just $20. Thank you dollar General, by saving my son money you are also saving me money!
