Disclosure: This blogger media event was put together by Universal Orlando Resort under the guidance of my friend Toni. I probably have to sign a waiver or something because a heart attack is a possibility.
Guess where we’re going today?
To face our fears together at Universal Orlando Resort. If you know me there are a few things you are very well aware of…
- I am afraid of the dark.
- I jump at least 5 times during a horror movie.
- I am terrified of heights.
- I am even more afraid of roller coasters.
As a matter of fact, I cry. Last week I watched the video where Kevin Hart went on a roller coaster with Jimmy Fallon at Universal Orlando Resort and I was so anxious the entire time that I realized I was crying. FEAR! TERROR! As part of my facing fears I am going to have to ride this same roller coaster, the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit!
So please, follow along on your social channels as we all face our fears together. Here is a bit of our schedule:
Wednesday:
Checking in at Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort then heading out to Universal City Walk to eat RAW FISH (hehe, this is NOT one of my fears) at Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar.
Thursday:
R.I.P. Tour of Halloween Horror Nights 25 including 9 Haunted Houses:
- The Walking Dead: The Living and The Dead
- Freddy vs. Jason
- Insidious
- The Purge

- 25 Years of Monsters and Mayhem
- Run: Blood, Sweat, and Fears
- Asylum in Wonderland 3D
- Body Collections: Recollections
Friday:

Lights on “Behind the Screams” HHN25 Tour
Please follow along and help me through this.
I need your support!
I don’t do Haunted Houses or scary movies. But put me on the biggest, fastest, tallest coaster around and I am a happy girl. What a fun campaign!
I never watch scary movies or do haunted houses. I’m really just not that into the scary part of Halloween (I’m such a baby!). I did ride roller coasters once upon a time, but I don’t now. Too scary for me! 🙂
Roller coasters really aren’t my thing. I would have to do them and haunted houses with a a friend or my husband. I used to love them as a younger.
I want to go to this so badly. I love the Halloween time of year and the small haunted houses in our area just aren’t getting the job accomplished for me anymore. Hopefully we can get down there without the kids to have a grown ups scary fun time!
Universal is as thrilling as ever! The attractions will be just as fun as they are scary. I hope you have a great time!
I’d be too scared to ride the really fast rides or to go in the spooky haunted houses! But I’d love to visit the resort!!
I haven’t been there in years and years and I”m looking forward to going sometime in the near future. I would love to go for Halloween or Christmas that would be so fun.
I’m a self-admitted chicken but much braver when I’m not alone. If I’m in the dark I’ll be brave unless I’m by myself! lol I think this looks like a blast though!
Oh my goodness, I would be too chicken to do any of those things! I’m not much for being scared, but I wish you the best of luck! Can’t wait to hear how it all goes.
That looks like so much fun! Would be nice if parks embraced a ghoulish but not scarey event for autism kids like ours who we wouldn’t dare to take him to b/c he would absolutely freak out & leave!
My fear is the ocean. I do not live the idea of being out in the ocean. I will only wade in as far as my knees, if the waves look like they could carry me out, I don’t go any further. But roller coasters! LOVE EM!! I could ride and ride and ride!
I absolutely love scary movies, but as for the rides and stuff…I have to talk myself into those the whole time that I am going to wait. I also don’t do well in haunted houses or anything like that.
My fear is snakes and heights so as long as there are no snakes there I would just have to close my eyes at the heights. Sounds like an awesome time.
Universal is a fun theme park to visit. My son love HHN. They really do a great job transforming the park.
I don’t get scared easily at all but I love going to horror related events. This one looks awesome!
Woah! Roller coasters scare me. We just love that you went to Universal. We went in early September and loved every minte of our trip.
I don’t like haunted houses, but I love a good scary movie. I also love a scary roller coaster, too.
Omg I just love Halloween horror nights! I use to live in Orlando and would go every year!
I don’t do horror movies or roller coasters, but I know so many people that love both. I bet they’d love Halloween Horror nights!
We went a couple of years ago and it was amazing and so scary! I would love to go again!
