The Dyson Digital Slim is proof that big things do come in small packages!
I have used many a vacuum in my day but nothing quite like the Dyson DC44 Animal Digital Slim. This vacuum weighs in like a bantamweight, weighing in at only 5lbs, but packs the power of a super heavyweight. Dyson has really outdone themselves with this one. They have created the smallest, most maneuverable vacuum I have used to date and it’s cordless! I don’t know about you but I hate pulling out the cord and plugging it in all over the house. Cords can be a real pain in the butt. The Dyson Digital Slim, with its 22.2V nickel manganese cobalt battery and wall mounted charging station (which is Energy Star rated for efficiency) makes playing “musical outlets” a thing of the past. This battery charges in a few hours and can be used for up to 20 minutes at a time. 20 minutes may not sound like very much time but trust me with this machine, it’s all you need. The Dyson Digital Slim is the personification of the idiom “big things come in small packages!
Don’t you hate it when that piece of whatever-it-is clogs your vacuum and you have to spend extra time trying to remove the debris? I can “field strip” this machine in a matter of seconds, remove the obstruction, and get back to vacuuming before the average guy can take his vacuum apart! I don’t exactly like cleaning either so the faster I get the job done the better.
For the really big messes just push the “Max” button for a powerful boost in suction. This setting will drain the battery significantly faster but will create unbelievable suction. I find myself making gear shift noises just about every time I hit the max button as I like to think of it as a turbo charger of sorts! I guess I need to get out more…
Emptying the waste canister requires literally one finger and could not be in a more accessible area. Some canister vacuums are a real pain to empty. Dyson engineers seem to have put everything in just the right place.
We thoroughly tested our Dyson Digital Slim on a variety of surfaces ranging from low pile carpeting to shag and even bare flooring. This vacuum is amazing on bare floors. The exhaust vent is located around the handle to keep from blowing trash all over the place like most vacuums. The Dyson Digital Slim worked great everywhere and its small stature means you don’t have to move all the chairs to vacuum under the table or between the ottoman and the couch! How great is that? Slackers rejoice! The business end of the Dyson Digital Slim is compact and fits between furniture that you would otherwise have to move out of the way which can save you lots of time and effort! By working smarter rather than harder you can save your energy for more important tasks like watching football or napping!
The motorized head with its carbon fiber brush bar powers out the smallest particles of dirt and dust which is great for allergy sufferers such as myself. It swivels around in impressive fashion with the tightest turn radius I have ever seen in a vacuum. This fine piece of machinery turns on a dime!
Remember back when people would describe the performance of something as “sucky?” The Dyson Digital Slim sucks but in a good way. It sucks like a vacuum is supposed to. If you haven’t experienced the power of Root Cyclone Technology you are seriously missing out. Root Cyclone Technology spins dust and dirt out of the air using centrifugal force, so there is no loss of suction which makes this vacuum a force to be reckoned with!
We have been Dyson fans from day one. We have owned and used several different models of vacuums, fans, heaters, and even hand dryers. The Dyson Airblade should be in every public restroom! It doesn’t take all day like the old school hand driers. It’s basically like using a towel made of air! Every Dyson product that we have ever had the privilege of using has been impressive and understandably so. The Dyson Digital Slim is the result of 3 years of extensive research, design, development, and an investment of over $10.3 million dollars! If that doesn’t show you how serious of a vacuum this is and how serious Dyson is about their products, I just don’t know what will. They stand behind their products.
Is there someone on your Christmas list hoping for a vacuum?
Why not get them the most powerful bagless, cordless, vacuum on the market?
