I recently had the opportunity to review some Calgon products and was very impressed. I tried the Calgon Take Me Away Luminous Bath Beads first as I have had some issues with dry skin recently. I put a handful in my bath and was greeted with an appealing fragrance and while bathing I noticed that the water beaded up slightly on my skin. It was not greasy and I decided to test the moisturizing abilities by not using body lotion after my bath. My skin looked slightly glowing and youthful after the bath and by that evening I was still nicely moisturized without any added lotion or cream. It has an ingredient called Vita Pearl that pearlizes your skin and I love it. I really like this stuff and it gives your skin a summer radiance. It would also be great in the winter when your skin has a tendency to dry out.
I used the Morning Glory Body Wash next and I liked the fragrance and the ultra lathering and it can be used as a body wash or bath gel as well. It is sort of two for the price of one. That also smells great and I tried the same fragrance in the milk bath and liked that as well. Topped off with the Blushing Blossoms body cream it creates the perfect bathing experience. It softens your skin and is not the least bit greasy.
I have always liked Calgon products and can remember back when it came in a cardboard box and I sprinkled it into my kids bath. They loved it as it was slippery and of course that made for plenty of splashing and sliding and quite a few towels to mop up the overflow later. My kids still remember the slogan they used.
Calgon….Take Me Away…..
