Bring Your Party Dress and Celebrate with M&M’S

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of M&M'S World for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

I’ve been to the store many times in the past but for whatever reason, I never seemed to make it by the huge wall of M&M’S. On my last visit, I decided to go through the door outside the mall with the colorful M&M’S character greeting me. It was like walking into a whole new world, an M&M’S World featuring the most colorful displays of deliciousness on the planet. Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Brown, and Yellow M&M’S were everywhere, but in the front of the store, there was a rainbow of 22 colors that just blew my mind!

What better way to celebrate M&M’S 75th Anniversary then to spend an hour or so really learning about M&M’S. For instance, did you know that each of the M&M’S has their own personality? I never really thought about all that before, but when you spend time in the M&M’S World Orlando store these characters really come to life. The employees there are really knowledgeable about the history and the personalities of the M&M’S and shared that information with me.

Here is a little of what I learned:

Ms. Green is a diva! She’s prissy and thinks she is too cool for school.

Blue think’s he is all that and a bag of chips. He’s too smooth and cool. It’s funny, I call him Mr. Suave.

Yellow is a nut, but don’t confuse him with a Peanut M&M – he’s just a goof and of course, he is everyone’s best friend.

Brown is a lot like me. She’s the Chief Chocolate Officer and she is the one who keeps everyone in line. You’ll most often find her with her glasses hanging down on the tip of her nose and a clipboard in her hand.

Red is the boss and he’s very confident. Well, he THINKS he is the boss when truly we all know that Brown is really in charge.

Finally, Orange is a tad paranoid. He is always thinking someone is out to eat him. Shhh…don’t tell him, but he’s my favorite color to eat!

Anyway, as soon as I walked in the door I saw the REAL NASCAR race car driven by Kyle Busch! Surrounding the car are all the colorful pillows, candy, and other things you can only find in the M&M’S World Stores in Las Vegas, New York City, Orlando, London, and Shanghai. Each store has its own personality and brings M&M’S to life in their own colorful way. One of my favorite sections of the store was the new Americana collection featuring not only the Red, White, and Blue M&M’S but also a stylish apparel line, accessories, and drinkware. My sons, however, are big fans of Star Wars and loved the Star Wars line. There truly is something for everyone.

Can’t find something for you? Well, you can even print a picture of your own face on an M&M in New York! Come celebrate the 75th Anniversary with your favorite childhood candy! Put on your party dress and let’s #CelebrateWithM!
