But what all those long months of feeding, watering, cleaning, and caring for boiled down to was this….
One of my favorite things about raising backyard chickens is that every day is an Egg Hunt!

Our Buff Orpingtons are loving. Our Black Sex Links are great layers. Our Americaunas make beautiful blue/green eggs. I wouldn’t change a thing about our girls.

They are all cute (both the chicks and the eggs!). When I was still loving at my parent’s, my dad loves to take care of them, and we always have either sunny side ups or scrambled eggs courtesy of our 3 hens! 🙂 Those were the days!!! 🙂
Do you have nay now? We had scrambled cheese eggs this morning.
