A Gift That Money Can’t Buy

holiday feast

Gift giving is sometimes a difficult thing especially when it comes to buying for parents.  If you don’t believe me you can ask my son, Ethan.  He’s nineteen and although he tries, sometimes he has a hard time thinking of anything other than candles when it comes to buying his mom a gift.  Yes, I have gotten a candle every Christmas for as long as I can remember from him because I once told him I liked candles.

As if AT&T knew that I had my fill of candles they launched “A Gift That Money Can’t Buy” this holiday season.  It is a site that allows teens to give their parent a one-of-a-kind digital gift. It also allows not so teen children (such as me) a place to check out all the cool gifts and send one or two to friends and/or relatives on their list.  The site will also nudge the recipient in the right direction of what to get for their kids, which is, the latest and greatest AT&T smartphone – specifically a Nokia Lumia 920.  Just to make sure my son would really like the phone, I’m getting one to try out!

So if you think your kids are going to give you another candle this year you might want to tell them about the Gift That Money Can’t Buy so they can find something perfect for you.  What mom wouldn’t want to stare at a personal “greeting” from Luke Perry every day?

Check out the great gifts available:

  • A Very, Very, Very Personal Greeting From Luke Perry
  • An uncut fashion tip by Joan Rivers
  • Guitar Solo from Richie Sambora
  • A holiday feast prepared by celebrity chef Michael Voltaggio
  • A joke handed down from comedian Richard Lewis
  • A cameo in this month’s “The Onion

Each week throughout the holiday season you can find new finds on #giftmoneycantbuy – so be sure to check the site often!

Disclosure: I received a Nokia Lumia 920 from AT&T to facilitate this post. All opinions are strictly my own.

  1. Yes, Indeed Gift are priceless. It’s all about feelings & emotions. I’ve always preferred the cheap gifts, the value of a gift doesn’t depend on the price you’ve payed for them…
