Okay, we are finally done planting the garden although as I sit here right now I’m thinking that I forgot to plant eggplant. Oh no…. I tried to list everything we have in the garden but I already know I forgot to put strawberries on the list and banana peppers.

Here is what the garden looked like once we started putting trellises over the peas and stakes on the beans. We still have some stakes to do, but all our tomatoes and peas are now supported. Keep in mind, other than the tomato and pepper plants everything was done by seed! Pretty awesome!
On Monday we fertilized our garden for the first time using Dr. Earth, an organic fertilizer. I’ll have to let you know how it works….so far, so good.
