Windows 10 Released Today: Upgrade Your World

I’m not usually this excited about an update, but I’ve been a Windows 10 beta tester for a year now and I can’t wait to install the new operating system.  I honestly was too chicken to click that last button that would have given me the beta version for the past year. I followed along though behind the scenes and I heard some incredibly great things about it…now I finally get to try it out. I’m particularly interested in test driving the all new browser, Microsoft Edge and experiencing Cortana on my PC.  I loved using her on my Lumia so now I get to bring the experience to my PC, exciting!

Now on the PC, you can ask her to find files for you, send an email on your behalf, turn on your music, pull up photos, find apps and more.
  • Make the web your personal sketchbook: The new browser for Windows 10, lets you write on the web with built-in note taking, sharing and integration with Cortana. Plus there’s a reading pane for no distractions.
  • Play more: Your games, friends, achievements and more will follow you across Xbox One and Windows 10 devices. Xbox Live is built into Windows 10 giving you access to the greatest gaming community in the world no matter where you are. Windows 10 extends the Xbox experience with game streaming. Play your Xbox One games on a desktop, laptop, or tablet in your home on your local Wi-Fi.

I’m excited to try out all the features, but right now I’m frustrated because my mic isn’t working so neither Cortana or the Microsoft Personal Assistant from before are working!
