Well, it’s not really Father’s Day yet, but June 21st is right around the corner and we got to celebrate a tad early here with some catch. Wilson Sporting Goods let us personalize our own custom leather football for my husband as an early gift! As you can see we even got to put a photo of James and his dad on the ball, along with the date and his name. There were all kinds of customizations to choose from and different team logos we could pick from. Since 1941, Wilson Sporting Goods has made the Official Game Football of the NFL. The process was so easy. We simply visited the Wilson Sporting Goods Custom Football Shop and had a choose to Make It Our Own or The Official Ball of Father’s Day. We, of course, choose the Father’s Day balls. From there we had 8 different templates to choose from and we wanted a photo of them together so we went with the template you see above. The next step was to pick the type of ball we wanted ranging in price from $79 – $129. We choose the NFL Leather Football, the official size football (and boy is it huge)! Finally we entered all our personal information, picked our colors, and uploaded our photo. When we were finished it gave us a 360° view of what the ball would look like when complete. The only thing left was to pay for it and it really was that simple.
Once the ball came it was evident that the quality was top notch and it left no doubt in our minds why Wilson Sporting Goods was the Official Game Football for the NFL. In July keep your eye out for other great customizations around birthdays and other events!
Even though it was huge James and his dad ended up playing catch with it until the sun went down. It was great laying in the hammock while they frolicked in the backyard. I got a ton of photos and this new customized Father’s Day Football has help create some great memories I will cherish forever.
