Treat Yourself, No Matter What. 5 Ways to Spoil Yourself This Week

When was the last time you treated yourself? Or had ten minutes of peace where you didn’t worry about work, the kids, your partner or something embarrassing that happened to you ten years ago? Well, I’m here to tell you that it’s been too long since you had a little TLC. Don’t worry about spending a fortune – or the need to possess a fortune in order to treat yourself (for information about coins, silver, and investments that increase in value over time check out Golden Eagle Coin) you can totally spoil yourself without breaking the bank and upsetting your finances.

Don’t believe me? Check out these 5 super simple ways you can spoil yourself this week. Go on, you deserve it!

Stop everything

Working full tilt? Or perhaps you’re in the middle of doing the laundry, folding clothes or ironing – why don’t you stop for a minute and breathe. Go and make yourself a hot drink, maybe a cheeky biscuit and sit and enjoy doing absolutely nothing. We’re all so busy rushing from task to task that we barely get time to breathe and reflect on our own thoughts. So, make the time. It’s the easiest way to treat yourself. Do it now. I’ll wait.

Spoil your skin

Quick shower in the morning? Sometimes, it serves as more of a wake-up call than a relaxing experience. So, why not take the time to run yourself a hot bath (or take your time in the shower) and fill it with your favorite bubble bath or bath salts. Take your time to exfoliate your skin, shave your legs, whatever you want, then apply plenty of luxurious, decadent body moisturizer all over. Tone and cleanse your face too. You’ll feel (and smell) amazing!

Go for a walk

Obvious health benefits aside, going for a walk is a really simple way to spoil yourself. A blast of fresh air and the warm rays of sunshine on your face – you just don’t get that when you’re stuck inside. Walking will get your blood pumping which is good for your skin, and it also helps to lower your blood pressure and your stress levels too.

Read

We’d all love more time to read. But with modern life moving so fast, it can be difficult to find the time. So, try to make the time instead; that pile of laundry will wait, and so will the dirty dishes. Find yourself a comfy chair or sit on your bed whilst the kids are napping and enjoy an hour or so of following someone else’s story. It’ll be worth it.

Learn something new

Why not treat your mind for a change by learning about a new topic? You could read a new blog about a certain topic or try a new podcast on a subject you want to learn more about? Plant-based lifestyles? How to be eco-friendlier? Travel podcasts about places you’ve always wanted to visit? There are literally thousands upon thousands of topics you can spoil yourself with.
