9 Things You SHOULD Have When You Travel

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/P&G.

It’s summer and that means it’s time to get out and explore. I just got back from the Philippines this weekend and I’m supposed to head out to the Dominican Republic next week. When it comes to traveling it is important to be prepared for pretty much any situation because you never know what can happen when you’re on-the-go!  Today I am going to be talking all about that extra bag that you can bring with  you when you travel, it’s the one that you should never forget. There are some essentials that you should really consider putting into that bag that will make your trip so much easier!

9 Things You SHOULD Have When You Travel

1. Hand Sanitizer: Public places are filled with germs because of so many people passing through so frequently. Keep some hand sanitizer on hand and you will be set to go, this way you can keep the germs away and fly safely.
2. Sunglasses: You never know what the weather is going to be like when you land and you want to be prepared. I like to always keep sunglasses on me so that if I do need them, they are right there.
3. Scarf: The weather is totally unpredictable. Sometimes it can get to be pretty chilly which is why I would recommend having a scarf in your bag. This way if you need it to stay a bit warmer, you can easily access it.
4. Portable Charger: Our phones are pretty essential these days and you don’t want it to die while you are in transit. Grabbing a portable charger is a really great option to keep your phone nice and charged throughout the day.
5. Headphones: I like to keep headphones in my bag because this way if I want to listen to music or watch a movie while I am waiting in the airport, or even while I am in the car I have my headphones and it gives me something to do.
6. Chapstick: I don’t know about you guys, but when I travel my lips tend to get really dry and no one wants that. I like to keep some lip balm in my bag so that my lips stay nice and hydrated.
7. Gum/Travel Toothbrush: You never know when you might get stranded and you don’t want to have to deal with that yucky morning breath. Be sure to pack some gum or a breath freshening toothbrush to give you a nice and fresh breath!
8. Snacks: Traveling can be a long process and you want to make sure you have something to eat to keep you fed until you can get an actual meal. I suggest packing some granola bars, protein bars, or maybe some chips/crackers that you will be able to snack on.
Venus Razor
9.Razor: I never leave home without my Gillette Venus Sensitive razor and shaving cream. There is nothing worse when you travel to have your legs and underarms feeling prickly and hairy! A quick, on-the-go shave always makes me feel refreshed and you can find Venus at your local Walmart wherever you are!  I prefer the disposable because I’m an On-The-Go Girl and it’s easier for me to toss it out and move on to my next destination. It still has 3 blades that give me the close shave I need, and a pivoting head to fit those hard-to-shave places.  However, if you are more of a Perfectionist the Venus Swirl might be for you because the 5 blades and Flexiball technology contours to every curve for flawless skin. More of the Multitasker? Well, the Venus & Olay razor moisturizes as you shave – no need for shave cream!  It also has 5 blades and Olay Moisture Bars that release skin conditioners to help lock in skin’s moisture for less dryness.
Things You SHOULD Have When You Travel razors
I personally think all of these things are absolute essentials and I would definitely recommend putting them into your travel bags. You never know what can happen on your next getaway, and it’s best to be as prepared as you possibly can be.

I love Gillette razors. I always make sure I have several in the house and they are always with me when I travel.
