Summer Fashion: Flip-Flop Fun

There hasn’t been much of a winter here in Florida. As a matter of fact it was in the 80′s today and since it’s so nice year round here flip-flops are pretty much year round for me. I might just own more flip-flops than anyone in the state. I have a pair of almost every color and every heel size and until now I continued to grab a pair almost every time I saw something I liked. Why? Because they have to match, of course.

So what changed? Well, I got a pair of Lindsay Phillips sandals called the Brenna Wedge Heel Flop. This versatile shoe features a 3-inch platform heel with a mock snakeskin strap and an interchangeable cowrie shell flower. Did you catch that? Interchangeable. As in this shoe can be change within seconds to fit all your fashion needs. Color. Style. You name it!

The best part about Lindsay Phillips strap and snap shoes? The embellishments on the top of the shoe—whether they are charms for the flats or straps for the sandals—are interchangeable, so wearers can go from a fun floral theme to a festive gem cluster in seconds.

I love that with a change of a strap I can go from a casual shorts look to a rockin’ glam with jeans look without having to worry about having extra shoes when I’m out. There are tons of different straps to choose from too! My favorite thing is that with the 3″ heel these are still one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own. I wore them all day shopping in the mall about a week ago and didn’t have any complaints.

I’ve been wearing the same boots for so long and recently needed new ones. It was super cold outside so I went to the local DSW and asked for the boot section. Ha! The entire section had been removed and the sandals were now being sold (and it was freezing outside…at least freezing for LA temperatures). And alas, I thought it was only us Angelenos that were already purchasing sandals .

Very nice!! I have a pair of flip flops that are the same concept, in that they have interchangeable straps. I have worn them every day during the summer for 3 summers now – and they are still the most comfortable shoe I have ever had! I love being able to change the straps without needing to buy all new sandals. I love the looks of these ones, but no way could I wear heels!!! I am a flat shoe kind of girl:-) Do they have flats, do you know?
