Shingle Creek Regional Park – Steffe Landing

If you are looking for a place to enjoy the outdoors around Orlando, you’ve got to check out Shingle Creek Regional Park. Located in Kissimmee just around the corner from Disney, at Shingle Creek Regional Park – Steffe Landing you can spend the day walking nature trails, fishing, kayaking, grilling, and observing local wildlife. We have already walked the trails a few times with the kids so this time we decided to take the kayaks and explore the waterways.

The area was beautiful and easy to navigate. Even in the middle of winter I was able to get a few wildlife photos. We decided to travel against the current which made for an easy return trip. The waterway is clearly marked and there are several areas along the way you can stop and have a picnic and enjoy nature. If you are in the area and looking to enjoy the great outdoors this is a nice place to go.

  1. Excellent! I’ll definitely take my kiddos here the next time we’re visiting my brother in Orlando. Thanks for sharing!

  2. GORGEOUS photos!!! I love the turtle in the first image! Steffe Landing looks like a very relaxing park – I could see myself hanging out there.
