Orlando Find: SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular

If you get a chance be sure to check out SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular this year, you won’t be disappointed.  I love it when there are alternatives for children to the typical trick or treating and SeaWorld made sure to make their party a truly fun event.  On October 6-7th, 13-14th, 19-21st, and 26-28th you can visit SeaWorld for an “Ocean of Fun for the Whole Family”!

Not only will you find the exciting shows, such as the dolphins, but you will also find a bunch of activities for the kids at Penelope’s Party Zone!

The kids got to decorate rice crispy treats and caramel apples while we enjoyed the festive atmosphere and music.

We found a bunch of great character costumes such as these cute crabs and a dog fish/cat fish couple (not photographed here).

There were endless amounts of candy located throughout for trick or treating too!

There were fun photo opportunities at almost every turn and we even got to enjoy the normal fun finds at SeaWorld such as the manatees & the other shows.

For younger children there was the Sesame Street’s Countdown to Halloween.

Sing and dance along with all of your favorite Sesame Street friends.

Don’t miss this live musical stage show featuring Count Von Count, Elmo, and his new friends, too!

Become a Spooktacular “sea-star” Celebrity

The Spooktacular paparazzi are waiting for you at Penelope’s Photacular (located on Bayside Pathway between Bayside Stadium and Wild Arctic). Wear your most sensational costume for a glamorous photo shoot, then watch as your photo may become part of the virtual costume parade during the Spooktacular pre-show for Shamu Rocks (be sure to arrive 30 minutes prior to Shamu Rocks).

Regardless of what your pleasure – SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular has something for everyone.  It was our first chance to check out the all-new TurtleTrek and it was not only educational, but the 3D, 360 dome theatre experience was something we won’t forget any time soon.

Disclosure: We were given complimentary media passes to experience this event.
